Overview

In certain situations, the FCA may seek to exercise its powers to apply to the court to appoint an insolvency practitioner (IP) over an authorised firm, or to replace an incumbent IP with a new IP. We are seeking to establish a Panel of consulting and restructuring firms which can provide IPs to take on such appointments. The Panel will exist for a term of four years. Please note this is not a procurement to which the Procurement Act 2023 applies. The purpose of this exercise is to establish a panel of Insolvency Practitioner Firms which provide practitioners with the requisite skills and experience to be appointed in the event of the insolvency of an authorised firm.
