Overview
The Housing First Flexible Support commission aims to provide a high-quality, pilot housing first support service project to individuals who have been provided with a permanent tenancy through Housing First Programme within the Lower Nithsdale area of Dumfries & Galloway. The aim of the service will be to reduce repeat homelessness for a small number of service users who have multiple complex needs and struggle to maintain temporary or permanent accommodation. The support model will be first and foremost a model of support that is relationship based, unconditional and ‘portable’, and crucially, ‘person-led, not system-led’: flexing to deliver what people want or need and not what processes…
