Overview
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service (HIWFRS) has contracted Operational Research in Health Ltd (ORH) to undertake a Fire Cover Review to support the planning of resourcing across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. The key objectives of this project are to review response standards and create and setup appropriate models of fire cover. Optimisation modelling will be used to assess configurations using existing and greenfield locations. Appliance contribution and efficiency saving modelling will be completed which will feed into the modelling around bespoke configurations. Specialist appliances RTC risk will also be assessed.
