HIGH PERFORMANCE COMPUTING FACILITY PURCHASE AND FUTURE CALL OFF FRAMEWORK

The University of Warwick Centre CENTRE FOR SCIENTIFIC COMPUTING has a requirement for HIGH A PERFORMANCE COMPUTING FACILITY PURCHASE AND FUTURE CALL OFF FRAMEWORK. This tender is concerned with refreshing Warwick’s central High Performance Computing (HPC) facilities. Historically the facilities have been based on one large machine with the current resource (Minerva) comprising approx. 500 nodes and 6000 cores. Rather than decommission this machine completely, the CSC is moving to a model where 50% of its HPC facilities are refreshed every 2 years based on a 4 year lifecycle per 50% of the facility.
