Overview

High Intensity Use (HIU) provides national support to health systems. Currently established in approximately 70% of health systems and with internal and external evaluation showing very positive results both financially and in terms of patient care. We require external expertise and resources to ensure we can continue to deliver, maintain and grow. The programme and service has spread across a number of CCGs (now moving to ICS footprint) with local health systems indicating implementation and further systems in development or discussion to progress this intervention.
