Harringey Mental Wellbeing Survey 2015

Improving positive mental health and wellbeing has been a growing government priority. The Department of Health’s No Health Without Mental Health strategy prioritises cross-government action to work with all sectors of the community in order that ‘more people will have good mental health’. The White Paper Healthy Lives, Healthy People also emphasises the centrality of mental wellbeing to physical health, healthy lifestyles and life expectancy. Reducing inequalities in wellbeing is a key priority and the Marmot Review into health inequalities calls for wellbeing to be an outcome target on health inequality alongside healthy life expectancy.
