Grounds Maintenance Services Procurement Railway Housing Association (RHA) owns 1,620 rented homes mainly located adjacent to the historical GNER railway network around Darlington, Doncaster, Durham, East Riding, Hull, Leeds, Newcastle, and York. In addition, it also manages 73 leasehold properties for older people and has a sheltered housing scheme in Hereford. Of the 1,693 homes under RHA's stewardship, more than 1600 require grounds maintenance. This comprises communal grounds, some individual front gardens and in a few cases, even the rear gardens of individual homes.
