The Coal Authority is looking for specialist contractors to undertake ground and mine entry stabilisation work by drilling & grouting techniques within the coalfields of Great Britain. The works specification for drilling work will be the relevant schedules within the UK Specification for Ground Investigation, Second edition including additions and amendments. The works specification for grouting work will be the Authority's specific specification for the works in hand, and this work will comply with BS EN 12715:2000 Execution of special geotechnical work - Grouting, and take account of BRE 509 Second edition Stabilising mine workings with PFA grouts - Environmental Code of Practice.
