The Green Distilleries Programme is a £12.33m Competition, which falls under the £1b Net Zero Innovation Portfolio which was announced as part of the government's 10-point plan in 2020. The Net Zero Innovation Portfolio will accelerate the commercialisation of innovative low-carbon technologies, systems and processes in the power, buildings and industrial sectors. The Green Distilleries Competition aims to facilitate the least cost and maximum value-added transition pathways to a lower-carbon economy.
