The Council is currently seeking to appoint an experienced and qualified contractor to refurbish and enhance the playground at Gostrey Meadow. The playground is for children from 1 year to 11 years old and play equipment needs to provide interest across these ages. The new area will be 800 sq metres with a fence surrounding the playground and including an area of seating within the fenced area. The Council wishes to install modern, high quality and accessible friendly equipment to ensure that the play is inclusive for all children and an asset to the local community.
