Overview

The GMC has conducted people surveys since 2009. We started an annual cycle of surveys in 2018. 86% of the GMC (over 1,300 colleagues) completed the people survey in 2022. We achieved a score of 74 out of 100 in the employee engagement index (EEI), which measures how positively colleagues respond to a set of key engagement questions. We introduced an inclusivity average index within our survey in 2020. The index is based on eight key questions in the survey and measures how included colleagues feel at the GMC. The index score for 2022 was 74%. The index results form part of our corporate objectives on inclusivity. We are looking to deliver the next survey to approximately 1,600 colleague…
