As the government's devolution programme evolves, Local Growth Plans remain a central tool for Strategic Authorities to articulate growth priorities for their regions. As a statutory requirement for Mayoral Strategic Authorities, they are consistently cited and linked to a range of government policy and funding announcements - covering a range from capital growth funding, to innovation programmes, to skills and employability support.
