Overview
Guildford Borough Council (hereafter 'the Council') recently adopted the Local Plan: strategy and sites (LPSS) Development Plan Document (DPD). This is the first of two DPDs currently envisaged to supersede the Local Plan 2003. As part of the evidence base supporting the examination of the LPSS, the Council prepared the Local Plan and CIL Viability Study, 2016 and Guildford Local Plan Viability Update, 2017. The second DPD, which when adopted will fully replace the remaining policies of the Local Plan 2003, will consist of the more detailed development management policies (hereafter 'LPDMP').
