Overview

Vessel specification: The vessel must be capable of supporting the deployment of equipment and retrieval of a full sample, together weighing approx. 900kg, the wire load required will be between 1.5 and 3 tonnes, with sufficient height to recover gear in triggered position. The vessel is required to hold a provided position (station) to enable safe deployment and recovery of the seabed sampling equipment with an accuracy of 10m. To achieve this, the vessel must have a draught less than 3m.
