GB-Braintree: Retail Evidence Base Update

Braintree District Council is commissioning a consultant to undertake a Retail Evidence base update. This document will be used as evidence for the production of new policies on retail in a new Local Plan. These policies will cover issues such as the sequential test, impact assessments, and retail site allocations. The study should take account of the National Planning Policy Framework and the approach to retail and town centres set out in National Planning Policy Guidance.
