Overview
The Digital Forensics Programme (DFP) launched in 2022 to deliver several projects to optimise how digital forensics is undertaken in policing. This is comprised of five overarching projects: • Selective Examination & Extraction (SEE) • Automation • Validation • Enduring Capability • Rape Response Review Project Tech Uplift 2 (RRRP2) The Validation project aims to establish a centralised validation and GTD service, reducing the validation burden of ISO17025 and the FSR CoPC and facilitating the deployment of digital forensics software in police forces.
