Overview

The Secretary of State for the Home Department acting through Border Force requires a supply, installation, service & maintenance, decommissioning and disposals contract for fume cabinets. Fume cabinets are located in Border Force locations across the UK and France and allow Border Force Officers to safely and accurately test unknown substances for High Hazard Chemicals/High Hazard Drugs. The Buyer is a professional law enforcement command within the Home Office. The Buyer is responsible for securing the UK border and promoting national prosperity by facilitating the legitimate movement of individuals and goods, whilst preventing those that would cause harm from entering the UK.
