CPI is currently working with world-leading companies in utilising waste streams for the production of chemicals and energy. These technologies have the potential to transform the economic landscape of chemical manufacture both in the UK and further afield. CPI has on-going programs within four biorefining themes, the aim of which is to produce chemicals from renewable sources, in turn reducing reliance on fossil fuels. CPI bridges the gap between early stage concept and scalable commercial process.
