Overview
Forest Management Operations: Management of the planting programme including the maintenance operations required to establish sites (operations listed below), excluding fencing, deer management and ground preparation. Rapid restocking can minimise weed growth (and hence herbicide use) and loss of nutrients and sediment from sites and may be needed to help improve forest structure. Invasive Vegetation Control: Management of all types of vegetation (woody or herbaceous) that is deemed an invasive species on the designated or conservation site which are outside of the establishment operations.
