FoodCycle

Community Partnerships, Kirklees Council is passionate about seeing people happy, healthy, active and involved in their communities. We also know that good food and good company bring people together. When we spotted FoodCycle we thought it would be a great opportunity for supporting Kirklees residents who would like to spend time with other people or are going hungry because they dont have the money, time or equipment to cook a proper meal for themselves. FoodCycle (www.foodcycle.org.uk) is a registered charity that builds communities by combining volunteers, surplus food and a spare kitchen space to create tasty, nutritious meals for people at risk of food poverty and social exclusion.
