Overview

We require a benchtop flow sorting system that will be used for environmental microbiology research. 1. We require a four laser system covering 488nm/405nm/561nm/638nm wavelengths to enable multi-parameter discrimination of phytoplankton pigments and physiological stains. 2. A critical requirement of this system is the ability to robustly control for microbiological contamination in the fluidics system. It must have a single-use chip based fluidics system that enables part of the fluidics and nozzle to be completely replaced with each use. The user must be able to easily switch between 70, 100 and 130um size "nozzles" without a service visit.
