We will be awarding to Field Studies Council for a residential biology field course in Wales as it provides us with the apporpriate accomodation and faciilities for staff and students. The Field Studies Council location allows the students to study and develop their skills for basic ecological techniques in woodland, meadow, river and sand dune systems, and identifying plants, insects and other invertebrates which are essential for those Biological Science courses with an ecological component, especially Animal Biology and Conservation, Zoology and many of the general Biological Sciences students.
