Field Engineering Services RFI

Jisc operates the Janet network, a national wide area network infrastructure. Jisc works with a number of partner organisations that carry out field work on Jisc’s behalf, but also has an in-house engineering function responsible for some elements of the delivery and operation of Janet. As part of a broader ‘buy not build’ strategy, Jisc is seeking a field engineering services partner(s) to take on the majority of field work, enabling Jisc engineering resource to focus on more complex and critical activities, and would therefore like to understand the breadth of organisations that operate in this space.
