Overview
The need for the RAND Study arose as there is a need to Commission of a research study to better understand the skills implications of different scenarios related to Tempest and GCAP. This study will cover challenges and opportunities for development, growth and sustainment of combat air skills across UK Defence. It will build on a study commissioned in 2018 but is now deemed outdated and unreliable to inform FCAS policy and direction. This Tender has been awarded via the ASTRID Framework.
