OVERVIEW The EU Settlement Scheme allows EU, EEA and Swiss citizens living in the UK before the end of 2020 (and their non-EU family members) to obtain an immigration status they need to continue living and working in the UK beyond 30 June 2021. Those applying under the EUSS need to complete a digital application form, which involves three key steps; applicants need to prove their identity, show that that they live in the UK, and declare that they have no serious criminal convictions.
