Wealden District Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced Contractors, to act as Principle Contractor in the design and construction of (affordable housing) 12 new Council Homes, external works and drainage at the Leap Cross site. The Leap Cross site consists of 12 business units that are falling in disrepair. The site will be vacated on the 31 December 2015. The Council received planning approval on 15 October 2015 to replace the existing buildings with 12 new Council Homes – 3 x one bedroom flats, 3 x 2 bedroom flats, 4 x two bedroom houses and 2 x three bedroom houses.
