Overview
The Department of Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) is looking to develop a modelling tool that can be used for generating energy demand profiles with associated costs and performance of demand side response measures for analysing the impacts of different heat decarbonisation pathways. The aim of the exercise is to have a set of demand profiles with demand side costs which will allow BEIS to explore the impact of heat infrastructure from different technologies and energy sources to meet a heating demand for a low carbon future.
