CPI have identified an initial need for the ability to measure vapour sorption of barrier materials used in the packaging industry. These barrier materials maybe free standing, individual or complex multilayers of thin films of polymers, papers, coatings or combinations of materials designed to control the adsorption and desorption of vapour molecules at varying relative humidities under refrigerated ambient and elevated conditions.
