Mendip District Council is working to deliver a network of multi-user paths across privately owned land and is seeking professional services to approach, negotiate and ascertain costs for the access for sections of the proposed connection between Wells and Draycott. The council has identified a network of potential connections across the District, to facilitate active travel and reduce car journeys. We have prepared route proposals for some of the desired connections and are now looking to achieve land access across sections of the Wells - Shepton Draycott path. We are looking to engage with private landowners on the suggested route to achieve access on agreeable terms for all parties.…
