DHSC: CSA: GovAssure 2024/25

GovAssure is the cyber security assurance approach for government that has now replaced the cyber security element of the Departmental Security Health Check (DSHC) since April 2023. The GovAssure assurance approach meets the requirements for an objective understanding of government cyber security as set out in the Government Cyber Security Strategy. GovAssure uses the National Cyber Security Centre's Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF). GovAssure is a five stage process which uses a systematic and comprehensive approach to assess outcomes and to identify the extent to which cyber risks to essential services are being managed by the government organisation responsible for them.
