GMP is coming to the end of their 3rd year of offering the Personal Development Action Learning Sets (PeDALS) Programme to staff and officers from underrepresented groups. This positive action programmes aims to lift the potential and confidence of BAME staff and officers in order to encourage vertical and lateral progression throughout the organisation and so help to develop a workforce that is more representative of our Greater Manchester communities. A new contract is required to design and facilitate a Positive Action Development Programme for Police Officers and Police Staff.
