Overview

Suffolk County Council have negotiated exclusive access to a 2-bedroom bungalow that had previously been unavailable to disabled children and young people within our remit in order to meet sufficiency for two disabled children with significant medical health needs. The property has been modified in such a way that it is able to accommodate children with complex medical needs, including those who are wheelchair users. The council now has a requirement to place two young people in this home, due to the specialist equipment and skills/expertise needed to meet their medical requirements and the need to place them together as siblings.
