Overview
York Teaching Hospital NHS Foundation Trust requires a contracted DBA service to support our live production database-related systems as well as for development, test and training environments. In our organisation, the main technology used is the Oracle RDBMS and Oracle Forms/Apex which are currently all hosted on-site. These underpin our main Clinical System which has been developed and maintained in-house over a number of years (25+). Other Oracle products have been used as new requirements have provided an opportunity to use new technologies (e.g. ORDS).
