Overview
Nottinghamshire County Council will be going out to tender early in the first quarter of 2015 for data space. Around 9 racks, with approximately 7kW per rack power, are required. They will need to be located in a secure data centre within 2 hours driving time of the main data centre in West Bridgford, Nottingham. The maximum cable length for this service is 100km . The data centre will need to have the capacity for more rack space to be acquired if required.
