As part of its commitment to reducing water demand and leakage, United Utilities is seeking to engage with the market to better understand the availability and capability of suppliers able to provide specialist onsite support associated with enforcing access to customer premises for the repair of customer‑side leaks. Under Section 75 of the Water Industry Act 1991, United Utilities has a statutory duty to ensure that leakage is repaired as quickly as possible.
