NIFRS has a legal & moral obligation to protect life, property and the environment across Northern Ireland. RTCs remain one of the most frequent, high-risk and life critical incidents types attended by the Fire Service. The renewal of Crash recovery licences will enable crews arriving at an accident to assess the situation in a timely manner and make critical decisions of how to extricate persons involved in an RTC.
