CQC Board Effectiveness Review

Professional services support is required to conduct an independent, objective, evidence-based review of the CQC Board. The focus of the review will be in accordance with the Corporate Governance Framework. It will focus on how effective the Board is collectively, including whether: it has the right mix of skills and experience; it is clear about its role especially in relation to the Executive Team; it has succession plans in mind as well as development needs of the Board; it is well supported by the quality of papers and information it receives; the papers are circulated in sufficient time; and the discussion of issues is adequate and decision takes are clear.
