Overview
Anglian Water Services (hereafter AWS) are seeking to enter into a PPA framework with a number of renewable energy generation counterparties, with the aim of running mini competitions for defined volumes of power on our journey to net zero carbon. AWS currently import >600GWh of electricity from the grid, and this framework will support our ambitions to be 45% renewable by 2025, and 100% by 2030. Our intention is utilise this framework to bring significant volumes of power into our supply mix from October 2023. Please note the intention is to open the RFI event as soon as possible.
