Overview
The Authority operates a fleet of approximately 370 vehicles comprising a range of types and manufacturerallocated throughout the Council’s various Service units and Community Groups and which are in daily useon a wide variety of tasks in dispersed locations within the County of Devon. To obtain maximum benefit andflexibility of use of the Authority’s fleet, vehicles are moved within the County as required. The Authority intends to let a multi lot contract for the maintenance and repair of the fleet for a period of 5 years from the 1st of April2017, with the Council having options to extend by two additional one year periods.
