The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) in Cambridgeshire as the lead commissioner (on behalf of Cambridgeshire County Council and Peterborough City Council) is seeking to commission a ‘specialist VCSE (Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise) sector provider’ or consortium of providers to deliver a county-wide support service provision for victims of sexual violence. It is expected the successful bidder will be part of a co-funding arrangement. The funding is expected to enable a solid infrastructure to be put in place from which the provider would be expected to add additional value through the use of volunteers, innovation and co-funding arrangements.
