Cornwall Council Waste Compositional Analysis 2025

Cornwall Council would like to carry out a compositional analysis study looking at multiple streams from the kerbside, HWRC, and litter bin services. Cornwall Council's kerbside collection service has undergone a significant service change since the last compositional analysis study was completed in 2023, moving from a weekly to fortnightly residual collection with a limit of 180 litres and introducing a new weekly food waste collection. This is expected to have a major influence on the composition of the waste remaining in the residual stream, and also the recycling stream.
