Overview
Contract awarded under Lot 2 of the CCS Framework RM1045, Network Services. Bury Council wish to replace their current data centre core switches and move to a more resilient and cost effective solution. The requirement must provide resilient network switching within the top of designated racks for server connections and then onward connections to a core data centre switch for inter rack and inter site communications to Bury data centres. Connections from the local sites will then be connected to a new core from either Bury Council's own fibre connection, via MPLS connections or local edge switches.
