To appoint an organisation or consortia with one lead partner, to build on the community-led approach already initiated by EDC and move towards a sustainable long-term legacy of local and community-led initiatives and partnerships. Over the course of 12 months a series of events and activities will be co-created and co-produced with artists, creative practitioners, local residents and community groups. A skills and training programme will be devised to run in parallel to support artists in developing community-led approaches to their work, along with skills development opportunities for residents and community groups in event planning and management.
