Overview
As part of the core capacity building work of the office of the Police and Crime Commissioners, the community leadership programme aims to identify, develop and support a network of community leaders across Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland (LLR). In this context, community leadership and being able to draw on those natural leaders who are well respected within the communities themselves is key. We will draw leaders from areas of high deprivation and crime, giving leaders the tools and techniques to help bring communities together and gain the confidence to be responsible for projects that matter to them, to build long-term sustainability.
