The purpose of this competition for Lot 3 "Helping people to manage their money and build confidence with maths" is to invite bids to create and deliver training provision for Essex residents who want to increase their numeracy skills in order to improve their ability to deal with everyday life challenges. These could include, but are not limited to, household budgeting, debt management, shopping and price comparison, food preparation, driving and travelling, DIY and home decorating, etc. The provision could be offered as stand-alone modules or bolted on to existing (vocational) courses or support.
