The University of Southampton are tendering for a Circular Dichroism (CD) spectrometer to be placed within a multi-user environment in the School of Chemistry. The primary function of the instrument will be the analysis of chiral interlocked molecules and their response to small chiral analytes as part of a European Research Council Consolidator Grant awarded to Dr Stephen Goldup. Capacity permitting during the ERC CoG award, and once the period of the grant has ended, the instrument will also be made available to other researchers in Chemistry and the wider University whose interests include protein secondary and tertiary conformation studies, protein folding studies, nucleic acid interact…
