Overview
The existing refrigerant chillers located within Plantroom No 4 on the first floor of the Countess of Chester, were originally installed in the 1970's to provide cooling to a number of existing AHUs. Two existing external remote air cooled condensers are located at roof level mounted on a structural frame and 'big foot system'. Refrigeration pipework extends from the external condensers to serve the chiller units within the plantroom.
