Chagossian Funeral Support Scheme

The Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) is developing a contract for the provision of subsidised funeral services for England’s Chagossian community. This contract would be part of FCDO’s wider ongoing support to Chagossians in recognition of their unique historical circumstances. The objective of the service is to support eligible people with Chagossian heritage with the costs of funerals, and the service is being designed with input from the Chagossian community.
