Overview

This contract is for the design and reconstruction of collapsed sections of the Grade II listed retaining wall above the highway. Other sections need repair to extend the useful life of the wall. A section of the wall collapsed into the road in 2018 and this is how site is to be found barriers and give / take traffic management in place. The work will require a safe system of work implementing to support the graveyard to allow a new retaining wall faced with the recovered stone to be constructed. The new wall is to be contractor designed to meet the requirements of the specification.
