Overview

The project is the construction of a major new public space which allows for flexible events and allows for arts, culture, enterprise and innovation within the site. The Contractor shall note the River Sheaf crosses the Site in a culvert. The site previously housed Sheffield Castle which was demolished in 1648 and was the home to Castle Markets which was subsequently demolished in 2015 with the site being left in its current condition.
